Au contraire, mon frere. I suppose I’ve got a lot to catch you up on. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you probably already know this, but a couple months ago, my husband, Jonny, and his business partners decided to pivot, finish the renovation, and sell the house. Since I had already purchased almost everything to outfit the house for a sober living house, I went ahead and staged the entire house before we listed it. It closed last Friday, June 26, and now belongs to a sweet couple who I’m sure will love living there.
With all the One Room Challenge business, and with this (spring/summer/fall) being my busy season, I decided to focus my energy on one blog post at a time. Before we listed, my dear friend, Sarah Bond, took all the photos you’ll see in my posts about the Green Hills house. This was a huge renovation and a big house, with six bedrooms and three bathrooms, so I’m going to break it up over the course of a few blog posts–much more fun that way! I’ll walk you through as if you were touring the house, so naturally, we’re going to have to start with the outside.
As a reminder, here is the “before” of the exterior (from the last two listings):
We had the whole house painted in Sherwin Williams Creamy, which, in my opinion, is the perfect creamy white.
I hope you love it as much as I do. Don’t worry, I won’t leave you hanging too long! In the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek of the inside:
